The Yocums // 4.15.17

Before April ends, I wanted to share some highlights of Becca and Brandon's beautiful Easter weekend wedding. These two are incredibly genuine and kind and it was so fun to capture the start of their marriage. Plus Becca looked absolutely stunning with her classic style and veil made specially by her grandmother!

As much as I enjoyed being present for their wedding day, I loved going back and editing photos from it. With so much happening during a wedding, it's easy to fly through it without being able to take in everything that goes on. Editing the photos allows me to re-live the most precious moments and emotions, which is one of the things that makes my job so great! I hope you all enjoy seeing some highlights from their day as I did preparing them. Many, many congratulations to the happy newlyweds!!

*Special thanks to the talented Queren King for being my second shooter!

Brad & Bailee // Engagement

It's been a while since my last engagement shoot, and I couldn't have asked for a better couple to work with on Saturday. Brad and Bailee were so fun to get to know, and they rocked it in front of the camera (don't you agree??)! I'm not much of a fan of cold weather, but I do love starting photoshoots off with delicious coffee (thank you, Decade!) and exploring fallen trees and open fields during golden hour. Brad and Bailee have such a sweet story, and their excitement to get married in September is obvious. Plus they're super easy to talk to and clearly super cool people. :) I can't wait to capture their wedding day in just 7 short months! In the meantime, enjoy some highlights from their shoot!

The Days // Maternity

I was so thrilled to be contacted by the Day family again! Last time I had worked with them, little Emry was only 6 months old, and now she's expecting a baby sister! It was so fun to see how much Emry had grown since our last shoot (which can be found here) and to capture her with Allison and James before the next bundle of joy arrives. Allison looks absolutely beautiful and she certainly has the maternity glow going on, plus her red hair worked wonders with the sunset. :) Thankfully we lucked out with a 50+ degree day at the end of December (thanks, Kansas), so this time I was able to show them some of my favorite Lawrence spots! I'm so excited for this family as they await baby girl #2. I hope I'll be able to meet her when she arrives!

Thanks for trusting me with your photos again, James and Allison, and many congratulations to you both!
