The Yocums // 4.15.17

Before April ends, I wanted to share some highlights of Becca and Brandon's beautiful Easter weekend wedding. These two are incredibly genuine and kind and it was so fun to capture the start of their marriage. Plus Becca looked absolutely stunning with her classic style and veil made specially by her grandmother!

As much as I enjoyed being present for their wedding day, I loved going back and editing photos from it. With so much happening during a wedding, it's easy to fly through it without being able to take in everything that goes on. Editing the photos allows me to re-live the most precious moments and emotions, which is one of the things that makes my job so great! I hope you all enjoy seeing some highlights from their day as I did preparing them. Many, many congratulations to the happy newlyweds!!

*Special thanks to the talented Queren King for being my second shooter!

The Giraldos // 7.16.16

I had an incredible time photographing the wedding of Katelynn and Camilo. Katelynn looked drop-dead gorgeous (THAT DRESS.), and it was hard not to get emotional when Camilo watched her walk down the aisle. The entire ceremony was charged with emotion and love, and I have to admit I got a little teary-eyed even while editing the photos after-the-fact. They managed to integrate two cultures and languages seamlessly throughout their wedding, which was beautiful to witness. Camilo is probably one of the most expressive grooms I've photographed, and his palpable excitement to be marrying Katelynn made every part of the day even more fun to capture (despite the July heat and humidity!). I am so happy for these two newlyweds and excited to share some shots from their momentous day! Many congratulations, Camilo and Katelynn!

Jules & Kelsey // Engagement

I had a blast taking engagement photos with Kelsey and Jules in a part of Kansas I don't often go to. We spent the evening exploring beautiful nature spots in Manhattan and a place near and dear to both of their hearts: Kansas State University! I'm not gonna lie - it was pretty cool to take photos in the empty stadium. Kelsey and Jules did awesome braving the elements (Kansas has its fair share of poison ivy, mosquitos, and humidity!) and looking great throughout. I'm so excited for the future Mr. and Mrs. Giesy, and I can't wait to capture their wedding day come July!
