I get it - there are a ton of amazing photographers out there to choose from, and it can be daunting to decide who to photograph your wedding day. I’ve been there, and I know how invaluable it is to have someone who you can trust to not only document your day beautifully, but who helps take the stress out of planning for how the day will go. My goal is to help you fully enjoy your day once it arrives by talking with you beforehand about what you are envisioning, helping you craft your itinerary to make sure there is more than enough time to capture what we need, and having back-up plans for when things might not go exactly as anticipated (I wish I could take all of the stress out of wedding planning, but alas, I am no superhero). I also offer a complimentary engagement session, which allows us to get to know each other better, and gives you a chance to get camera jitters out before your big day. Your wedding day is a celebration, and you deserve to enjoy it as much as your guests!!

Some insight into my photography style:

• I aim to keep my editing aesthetic timeless. I love contrast and natural colors. I appreciate and enjoy the editing trends out there, but my goal is to never let my editing go out of style.

• As much as I love color, I also love black and white! I will include roughly about a third of a finished gallery in black and white for a variety of reasons. If this isn’t your speed, I’m happy to talk about this before editing begins!

• My all-time love is candid lifestyle photos. However, I know that most people (myself included when I’m in front of a camera) need some guidance on posing, so I will always provide that. I encourage my clients to have fun, move around, laugh, and act themselves during a shoot, because my goal is to capture YOU and your unique dynamic.

• I love freckles, moles, lines, and everything that makes a person who they are. Other than some skin smoothing and blemish correction, I strive to highlight each person’s natural beauty by leaving those IN!

• My favorite light is natural light, which means I love shooting outdoors whenever possible in the mornings or late afternoons. I will forever love a good golden hour session. <3 That being said, I’m also always open to shooting indoors in a coffee shop, bar, or in the comfort of your home.

• Have ideas for posing during your session? By all means, try them! I’m always down to try something new for photos.
